About the Company:* American Series C HealthTech start up in revenue stage* $200m funding (recent funding is Feb 2025).* Fully remote within the UKRole:Seeking a ML Engineer to develop real-time, regulatory-compliant ML algorithms analysing continuous wearable biosignals (ECG, PPG, accelerometer) for validated digital health solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement ML models for real-time wearable biosignal analysis.

Develop algorithms meeting clinical-grade standards in regulated environments.

Reprocess and manage large-scale continuous time-series data.

Collaborate with clinical, product, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with medical device regulations and GMLP.

Optimise algorithms for edge, mobile, and embedded deployment.

Validate models using sensitivity, specificity, ROC-AUC, and precision-recall metrics.

Support technical documentation and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

3–5+ years’ experience with ML on time-series or physiological data.

Expertise in signal processing and time-series modelling (deep learning, classical ML, anomaly detection).

Proficient in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Familiarity with FDA regulatory pathways (510(k), De Novo) and standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485).

Experience with MLOps and model visioning in regulated settings.
