The role:
Maintenance Team Leader
We are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to lead and supervise 20+ Mechanics and Technicians in scheduled maintenance, inspections, and defect rectification.
What you\’ll do:
- Ensure team compliance with environmental, quality, health and safety, and housekeeping standards
- Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring safety, regulatory, and company standards are met
- Collaborate with colleagues, shift managers, and support departments to achieve departmental targets
- Organize and assign tasks to meet work schedules and targets
- Manage team members according to HR policies, including disciplinary actions
- Provide coaching, performance management, and development for team members
- Improve schedules and reduce aircraft downtimes
- Provide technical leadership during maintenance tasks
- Sign off work upon completion within your scope of approval
- Maintain effective communication within the organization
- Drive departmental productivity and cost efficiency through process improvements

Salary:
£72,105 per year plus shift allowance of £4,163 (4×4 Days) or £8,741 (4×4 Nights)
