The role:

Maintenance Team Leader

We are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to lead and supervise 20+ Mechanics and Technicians in scheduled maintenance, inspections, and defect rectification.

What you\’ll do:

• Ensure team compliance with environmental, quality, health and safety, and housekeeping standards
• Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring safety, regulatory, and company standards are met
• Collaborate with colleagues, shift managers, and support departments to achieve departmental targets
• Organize and assign tasks to meet work schedules and targets
• Manage team members according to HR policies, including disciplinary actions
• Provide coaching, performance management, and development for team members
• Improve schedules and reduce aircraft downtimes
• Provide technical leadership during maintenance tasks
• Sign off work upon completion within your scope of approval
• Maintain effective communication within the organization
• Drive departmental productivity and cost efficiency through process improvements

Your experience:

• UK CAA Pt66 B licence
• At least 3 years of aircraft heavy maintenance experience
• Authorization for Base Maintenance on various aircraft types
• Experience leading teams in aircraft maintenance

Salary:

£72,105 per year plus shift allowance of £4,163 (4×4 Days) or £8,741 (4×4 Nights)
