About this opportunity
We are looking for a Electrical / Automation Engineer to come and join our team
This is a shift based role, where you will work on a 4 on 4 off rotational basis working both days and nights.
Your mission in Crown
Within this role, you will work alongside both the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure that electrical breakdowns faults are quickly resolved and rectified. Focusing on both proactive and reactive measures, you\’ll be responsible for ensuring our equipment continues to run efficiently and effectively 24/7. As a state of the art factory, much of our equipment is fully automated and therefore you will be equally confident to fault find and diagnose issues with our machine IP networks, high speed cameras, Robots and controls as well as the more traditional electrical faults associated with motors, relays and contactors.
About you
You will be qualified to to a minimum of NVQ L3/ONC in electrical/electronic engineering but NVQ L4/HNC electrical/electronic engineering is preferred. You will have a working experience of either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs, HMIs and VFDs, with a minimum ability of fault finding, but program modification and optimisation experience is preferred.
