Overview
We are seeking a technically driven Sales Application Engineer to support customers in the food sector. This field-based role combines technical expertise with commercial insight, helping clients optimise processes, enhance product quality, and improve production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the sales team and customers, developing tailored application solutions
- Engage with clients to understand production challenges and propose process solutions to improve food freshness, storage life, and product quality, including cooling, freezing, and packaging under controlled atmospheres
- Prepare technical proposals, ROI analyses, and presentations demonstrating value and performance improvements
- Oversee trials, demonstrations, and commissioning of systems and application technologies
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to align customer needs with product innovation
- Provide technical training to internal teams and customers
