What you can expect
Our UK office in Newcastle upon Tyne is currently recruiting for a DevOps Specialist to continue to support, improve and add to our existing processes and softwares within our System Implementation workgroup and minimise the length of each DevOps cycle.
The DevOps Specialist will support the unification and automation of processes to improve performance and efficiency by defining, creating and deploying tools and processes to support continuous integration and delivery activities.
The role will ensure compliance with data security and data governance legislation and will work with developers, managers and system specialists at all levels of the business, and from other disciplines, on commercial client projects as well as internal R&D initiatives. The role requires a strong advocacy of quality surrounding all software functions, development and usage.
What you will bring
- Good understanding of standard DevOps software components and methods
- Good knowledge of software engineering techniques and processes of moderate complexity and size
- Excellent training and presentation skills
- Demonstrable ability of setting up, configuring and executing DevOps components and modules of medium size and complexity
- Proven history in identifying and troubleshooting technical defects
- Minimum of Batchelors degree in a related subject
- Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience in a similar or related job role
- Experience across a variety of projects
