As we continue to grow and innovate in the dynamic energy sector, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as IT Infrastructure Engineer
The IT Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in developing and delivering the strategic and operational delivery of the IT services and infrastructure across the organisation. You will have responsibly for the development and ongoing management of the IT infrastructure, working within the IT team to support hardware, software and key systems including troubleshooting technical issues and deploying new systems and services.
What We Need From Yü
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
- Drive the development of new technologies to improve business performance and service delivery targets.
- Support and maintain company IT hardware and software licencing.
- Leading the IT team on the company’s infrastructure, maintenance, and development, including Hardware, Networks and software.
- Responsible for meeting the business KPI for key systems and improve the reporting process.
- Help develop the long-term strategy advising of trends within IT and technologies to support those trends. Focusing on a cloud-based systems
- Continually monitor for threats and vulnerabilities, implementing solutions to mitigate as appropriate.
- Support, maintain and develop IT and related policies and processes throughout the company including ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials
- Maintain and develop the IT System Security
- Development the use of Microsoft 365 and other cloud-based technologies.
- Maintain and enhance the management of IT devices and systems.
- Support and maintain company server Environment well as cloud-based services.
- Liaise with Network providers for development or escalation of faults and improvements.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud computing technologies .
- Ability to liaise with Stakeholders on the technical development of converged solutions.
- Manage multiple workstreams concurrently, meeting specific time frames.
- Flexibly in working pattern to support key systems.
- Technical – has experience/knowledge of the below:
o M365 administration including, Entra AD, Intune, Autopilot. SharePoint,
o On prem Server management, including Server 2022, Hyper-V, storage and IoT devices
o Backup services management.
o Domain management, webservers, including certification
o Cloud based services management.
o Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and emerging technologies.
o SQL and replication knowledge.
o Anti-virus/anti-malware products.
