We have considerable experience in all aspects of AV, from live events and theatre through to medical training facilities, corporate meeting spaces, classrooms and lecture theatres.

About:

Do you like to solve problems? Do you get bored of working in the same place every day? Do you work well under pressure? Can you work alone and as part of a team? Can you adapt quickly to changing requirements? Do you like to travel?

Gismosys are looking for AV control programmers/commissioners to join their small, dedicated team of Audio Visual specialist programmers, commissioners and designers.

Gismosys are not just an AV programming house – we advise and assist our clients from conception to delivery. As a part of this process, we design, support and program:

  • BiAmp systems
  • Qsys systems
  • SY systems
  • Symetrix systems
  • …and others

We have an extensive client base of integrators and end users, covering all aspects of Audio Visual systems, from government to entertainment, from suppliers to retail outlets, from sport facilities to worship.

Role:

The job will be to provide all of the services that we offer our clients. There will be some design and consultancy, some on-site commissioning, some offsite programming & support, and quite a bit of on-site programming and fault finding/commissioning.

This is a permanent full-time role, subject to a 6 month mutual probationary period. Salary negotiable, subject to experience with 5% employer pension contribution and 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.

Requirements:

  1. Full UK Driving license
  2. Able to work flexible hours with, on average, overnight stays away from home at least three days per week.
  3. Good written and oral communication skills in fluent English.
  4. Knowledge and experience of AV systems, their installation and operation.
