Finance Business Partner

Our client is looking for a Finance Business Partner, to be the finance lead and oversea the financial aspects of a project as it progresses Client Details Our client is based in the North West of England and they are dedicated to driving change across our local area and beyond. They partner with Internet Service Providers to optimise the UK\’s fibre network. Together they deliver the best possible customer experience whilst driving down costs and improving the speed of roll-out. Description The primary responsibility of the Finance Business Partner role is to be the finance lead and oversea the financial aspects of a project as it progresses. You will be focused on time-based projects that have their own individual budgets and deliverable and will be expected to provide ongoing reports on the financial performance and KPI\’s of these projects. These projects include BDUK (government) awarded projects as well as internal strategic projects. You will be responsible for holding project managers responsible for financial performance, timely reporting against any contractual obligations as well as providing key KPI\’s for monthly board packs. To be successful in this role you must work with project team deliver projects on/below budget and flag any risks and how they may be mitigated to the project managers and senior finance team.
