Delivery Manager, Cyber, Data and Privacy – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, or Manchester
Role Overview
Vario is a market-leading alternative legal services provider within Pinsent Masons, unique in the legal sector. It includes Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management, and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role is within our MLS team.
We are recruiting a Delivery Manager to support our MLS Delivery teams, ensuring the delivery of world-class legal services to practice groups and external clients. The role involves engagement strategies, pastoral care, and development of legal delivery teams. Responsibilities include:
- Line managing a team of paralegals focused on delivery to clients and lawyers, including supervision, training, and development.
- Supervising legal service delivery to end users.
- Supporting service delivery on engagements, including resource planning, QA, and progress reporting.
- Developing delivery models for best-in-class service.
- Building relationships across practice groups and sectors.
- Managing work allocation and capacity with Resource Management.
- Identifying and developing new service offerings in cyber, privacy, and data.
Standard working hours are 9:30am-5:30pm with flexible working considered. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Candidate Overview
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience with Data Protection, Privacy & Cyber Security legal requirements.
- Experience processing DSARs, managing cyber breaches, drafting privacy policies.
- Skills in negotiating data protection agreements and conducting DTIAs, maintaining ROPAs and compliance documentation.
- Experience in alternative legal services and managing high-performing legal teams.
- Experience delivering legal services in high-volume, multi-location environments.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and promote alternative service delivery benefits.
- Experience working with performance metrics for service excellence.
