Methods are looking for a ITSCM/Service Continuity Manager for an on-going contract.IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) is to ensure that IT services are available as quickly as possible, when technical disruptions occur and to minimise the impact of incidents on business operations, such as downtime, costs, and reputational damage.Candidates must have a strong track record of performing in a Service Continuity role, ideally within a ITIL & Public Sector environment. The ITSCM will validate existing Business Impact Assessments for all Technology services and will also establish the process for completing new BIAs for upcoming services.Role Duties:Help our clients Technology plan for incidents: Develop and establish effective, standardised processes for incident management, to enable service continuity.Analyse threats: Identify potential threats like cyberattacks, equipment failures, or human error.Reduce risk: Develop strategies to reduce the risk of incidents, such as redundancy and backup systems and mitigate with a Service Continuity Plan.Plan for recovery: Create recovery plans and procedures agreed with the Business to ensure IT services can be restored quickly within agreed service levels.Test plans: Plan and conduct testing (including desktop exercises) to ensure plans work as intended. Establish a process for regular testing and training.About You:This role would best suit an individual who has a proven track record in delivery in a similar roleRelevant qualifications, skills and experience in Service Continuity Management including development and management of Business Continuity plansProven Skills and Experience working in a Public Sector roleIdeally experience in working in a ITIL environmentITIL Foundation Certificate (minimum) or Service Operations Lifecycle module (preferable)Proven experience in communicating with a variety of stakeholders at different levelsStrong Team working skills and management of line reportsAble to work without supervisionStrong inter-personal skillsFollowing a role assessment, this role is expected to be outside IR35. Please, note this is not a final IR35 determination as this will be assessed in the first week to ensure that the ways of working are clear for you to complete the assessment. Please, note you will pay for your assessment via QDOS, this will be arranged by our IR35 team in your first week.
