Applications are invited for this Senior Clinical Lecturer (Education) position, based on the Brunel campus in Uxbridge, West London. The successful applicant will have a key role overseeing the planning and delivery of teaching, student support and assessments in Year 3, ensuring an excellent student experience for the first and successive cohorts of BMS students.
Brunel Medical School welcomed its second intake of MBBS students in September 2023. It has a number of distinctive features, including team-based learning, programmatic assessment, a House Tutor support system and early exposure to patients in the community.
The successful applicant will be a senior clinician, GMC registered with a licence to practise, and in clinical practice. They will have experience of educational leadership and a track record of high-quality undergraduate medical education, preferably in a university-based role. Ideally, they will have experience of student selection, assessment and student support. The post is for 5 years in the first instance, renewable.
This position represents an excellent opportunity to be part of a medical education team delivering an innovative MBBS programme at Londonβs newest medical school.
The successful applicant will be expected to work as a clinician in hospital or primary care whilst undertaking this role.
