Are you an electrical biased engineer with experience in power and propulsion systems or a strong electrical background looking to increase your knowledge and skill set?
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a true technical specialist in the marine sector while working with the latest power and propulsion systems technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintenance, breakdowns, and commissioning
- Working on electrical power systems, propulsion systems, and associated control systems
- Compile Technical Reports in a timely manner and to a high standard on the completion of each job
- Customer facing role
- Main base (Essex) – with occasional worldwide travel
Background Required:
- Experience working with electrical power or propulsion systems
- Familiar with PLCs, SCADA, Software packages (Allan Bradley, Mitsubishi, WAGO)
- Experience with Switchgear/Switchboards
- Experience as a Service Engineer/Maintenance Engineer/Marine Engineer/Navy
- Electrical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
- Must have a UK Passport
