Our client is a prominent financial services organization recognized for driving digital transformation in banking and wealth management. You\’ll join a highly collaborative and agile technology team working on mission-critical modules including Payments, Cost & Fees, and CLM within the Avaloq ecosystem.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Avaloq Developer with strong expertise in Payments (mandatory), Cost & Fees, and CLM modules. This is a -month contract with a strong possibility of extension. The role is open to remote candidates across the UK and EU, although being based in London, UK is a plus.
As a stream lead, you\’ll be responsible for Avaloq module development, configuration, and integration, while also contributing to performance optimization and code quality. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with Avaloq ICE Workbench and Smart Client, and possesses excellent Oracle PL/SQL skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Avaloq development across Payment, Cost & Fees, and CLM modules.
- Work with Avaloq ICE Workbench and Smart Client for development and configuration tasks.
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL code including procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to delivery in sprints.
- Engage with client stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
Preferred Skills:
- + years of hands-on experience in Avaloq development.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Payments (mandatory), Cost & Fees, and CLM modules.
- Proven experience with Oracle PL/SQL, including advanced procedures and performance tuning.
- Proficient in SQL and familiar with tools such as TOAD and SQL Developer.
- Avaloq Certification is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Unix scripting is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous client-facing experience is desirable.
