Contracts Lawyer Responsibilities

  • Review, Draft and Negotiate commercial contracts in UK, USA and Europe
  • Provide legal advice to support business objectives while managing legal risk
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Operations and Finance to ensure contracts align with company goals
  • Communicate legal positions clearly to clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain up-to-date legal and regulatory knowledge covering UK, USA and across Europe
  • Support the development and implementation of contract management processes, contract document vault and templates

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
  • 2+ Years post-qualification experience, including 2+ years in an in-house role
  • Proven experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts in the UK, USA and 1-3 European jurisdictions
  • Strong commercial acumen and pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a constantly evolving landscape.
  • Ability to successfully work in an in-office and/or hybrid environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the gravitas to influence at all levels.
