Job Description Year 7 ASC and Complex Needs Class Teacher We are working on behalf of a school which requires a teacher from January 2025 to carry out long-term cover through the spring term through till Easter 2025. Details are as follows. – Leading a high needs (sensory, complex behaviour) Year 7 Class. – The role is to cover for the spring term till Easter 2025 and would involve – The person concerned must have experience of teaching pupils that have ASC and SEMH and ideally have PRU type experience – The class has 5 pupils and 6 members of staff working with them – The person concerned must have experience of working with this level of complex need and pupils that have impulsive behaviours – The person concerned would ideally have experience of; PECS and ALD\’s, Intensive Interaction, TEACCH, Trauma-informed Practice and Team Teach – The class is heavily supported by the TA\’s and extended and senior leadership, as well as some external agencies – The class works on a very bespoke, individualised approach, that requires a high level of structure and routine What you need to do now If you\’re interested in this role, click \’apply now\’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
