Overview

We are recruiting for a Lead Planner to join our UK Build Division in the South on one of our Healthcare projects. You will support the management team with the planning and programming of the design, procurement, and construction activities associated with the works. Your role will involve leading the programme and planning management for the team during preconstruction and construction phases. You will develop regular reports to feedback on progress and performance on a weekly and monthly basis. We are looking for a Lead Planner with experience in Healthcare/Hospital builds. Responsibilities

  • Report to the Regional Planner on the current programme position for all projects on a weekly/monthly basis. Regularly review programmes, outputs, and phasing with the Regional Planner.
  • Conduct PDPs with all assistant planners and drive actions/activities from the development plan.
  • Lead and coordinate planning and programme management duties during preconstruction.
  • Lead and coordinate planning and programme management on site.
  • Assist in the assessment of the programme and entitlements under the contract, coordinating outputs with the management team.
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly programme reporting.
  • Present the programme position at the monthly contract review meetings.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Degree or diploma.
  • Experience working on Healthcare/Hospital projects preferred.
  • Advanced training in Asta Powerproject – Progress Analysis & S-curve reporting.
  • Advanced training in Primavera P6 – Managing costs & resources.
  • Strong understanding of contract frameworks such as JCT and NEC.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK and EU legal frameworks, especially contract management.
