Waites Recruitment Consultancy are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor for a extremely experience Construction client based in Essex on a full time basis.
The Role
We are looking for an (ideally) MRICS qualified Chartered Building Surveyor.
That said, experience is more important than qualifications.
We are located adjacent to Stansted Airport, in Essex.
We only work with school’s undertaking anything along the lines of:
Asset management plans.
Feasibility studies.
Measured surveys.
Design drawings (CAD and Revit).
Contract specifications.
Contract (JCT) execution.
Contract Administration / Project Management.
Generally, the type of projects we work on are as follows:
Toilet refurbishments.
Flat roof renewal.
RAAC recovery.
Mechanical boiler plant renewal.
Electrical services renewal.
Classroom extensions.
Sports Hall’s.
3G pitches.
We would be looking for a client friendly surveyor who can independently and competently undertake the following:
Condition inspections.
Feasibility studies.
Able to undertake principal designer duties (F10 / pre-construction information).
Liaison with drawing team for Planning and Building Control.
Compilation of specification (NBS).
Procurement.
Tender report.
Contract Administration of scheme (including client meetings and certification).
We are a small and friendly team (client relationship is very important) and we will go way over and above what is necessary to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and budget.
