Discover Impactful Work:
Provides comprehensive engineering and technical services on large and/or complex projects to analyze and prepare files for efficient, high-quality translations and implementation in the customer’s environment. Applies advanced technical expertise to ensure top quality and profitability on projects.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Experience with Json, Resx, Vtt, HTML, XML (various types from different systems), Madcap Flare, Dita, Articulate, mp4, Captivate, etc.
- Experience with CAT/TMS tools preferred (Wordbee, SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ, Memsource/Phrase, XTM, etc.)
- Experience with Content Management Systems (Tridion, ST4)
- Troubleshooting localization and translation projects throughout their lifecycle
- Performing and managing localization engineering tasks
- Converting formats to translatable files and back
- Experience with parsers and scripting
- Guiding project teams and external engineers on application conversion steps
- Resolving tag issues in translated files
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, C++, C#)
- Suggesting process automation and new tools
- Updating configuration/settings in TMS/CAT tools based on process updates
- Working efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Meeting tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Managing multiple projects effectively
- Understanding language and cultural nuances
- Certification in localization engineering or related fields (preferred)

Utilizes localization engineering technical and professional knowledge, skills, and judgment to achieve results.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent, with relevant academic or vocational qualifications. Minimum of 5 years of experience in related roles.
