Senior Pensions Administrator, Large In-House Scheme
Calling all Pensions Administrators ready to move onwards and upwards! Are you seeking to advance in pensions administration, particularly within an in-house pension department rather than a TPA or consultancy? Or perhaps you currently work for a small in-house team and are looking to join a larger scheme in a more senior role? If so, our client, a major retail brand, is looking for someone like you. You will support the Administration team in delivering administration cases and calculations across a defined Benefit Scheme. Responsibilities include completing calculations, managing correspondence for members, ensuring high service levels, handling high earners\’ cases with legislative controls, performing QA checks, updating worklists for compliance, reviewing transfer cases, responding to emails, assisting auditors, and authorising payments. You will also support compliance processes and participate in projects.
Requirements include experience in DB Pension Scheme administration (in-house or TPA), technical benefit calculation expertise, up-to-date UK Pensions legislation knowledge, strong prioritisation, communication skills, teamwork, motivation, numeracy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A willingness to study or continue studies is also valued, along with supporting junior team members in their development.
