This role is to join an established multi-disciplined building services consultancy. They provide a comprehensive customised design service for the mechanical and electrical services within a range of buildings. They have a strong emphasis on imaginative and sustainable design.
You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive design team with experienced engineers where you’ll feel welcomed as a trusted team member from day one.
Main Purpose of the Role
With the assistance of other engineers within the team, you will take on the technical design and integration of the electrical systems for new and existing projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assisting with designing and supporting the senior electrical design engineer to manage individual projects, resolving technical matters and liaison with clients as and when required.
- Attending project meetings with clients and internal meetings, to discuss progress and policies.
- Carry out site surveys for condition and feasibility reports.
- Writing and producing specifications and tender packages.
- Undertaking tasks and training to further develop your skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- An electrical or building services engineering degree
- 1-2 years’ UK experience in electrical design of building services.
- The ability to think innovatively to solving engineering problems.
- Highly motivated with a strong aptitude to learn and develop skills.
- A positive and friendly team approach.
