As a Production Manager at our fire door manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the production process to ensure efficient and high-quality output. Leading a team of production staff, you will plan, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or woodworking industries, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch fire doors.
Location: Knowsley
Schedule:Full-Time |Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Work closely with the management team to establish production targets and goals.
- Optimise production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as design, engineering, and sales, to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, ensuring their timely availability for production.
- Implement and enforce health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to production staff, ensuring their development and high performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the production team.
- Resolve production issues and coordinate solutions with cross-functional teams, such as engineering and quality control.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or woodworking environment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and optimisation techniques.
- Familiarity with woodworking techniques, machinery, and related manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate teams.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve production efficiency.
