Our client has over 40 years of experience delivering thousands of successful projects, specialising in Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, and Environmental engineering across commercial, education, residential, and healthcare sectors.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical services including heating, cooling, ventilation, hot/cold water systems, and above-ground drainage.
- Develop concept, feasibility, and detailed design proposals, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
- Perform thermal modelling and energy calculations using IES or TAS.
- Work with AutoCAD 2D and develop Revit skills.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design teams.
- Ensure compliance with UK design legislation and industry standards.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ UK-based mechanical services design experience.
- Proficiency in IES or TAS software.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and guidance.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (Degree preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Full UK driver’s licence and own vehicle (travel to project sites required).
