What’s the role?
It’s an exciting time in our Corporate division. With a new leadership team and renewed momentum, we’re expanding our client proposition by strengthening our trading expertise.
As part of this growth, we’re looking for an experienced Corporate FX Dealer to support our clients in managing currency risk, executing trades with precision, and enhancing commercial outcomes for Lumon.
You will work closely with the sales team, FX Strategists, and other members of the Corporate team to provide a seamless experience for our clients. You'll also manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring they feel supported throughout their FX journey.
In a nutshell:
- Manage day-to-day FX dealing activity for a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution across all FX products (spot, forward, and options, where applicable)
- Deliver real-time market insights and trade recommendations based on client needs, positioning Lumon as a trusted FX partner
- Provide proactive service to clients, responding to queries around pricing, execution, market movement and hedging strategies
- Collaborate with Sales and Strategy colleagues to ensure effective handovers, deal execution, and client retention
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global macroeconomic factors, central bank policy, and FX markets to deliver relevant and timely commentary to clients
- Work within a structured framework to ensure compliance with internal policies, processes and regulatory obligations (e.g. MIFID)
- Support the onboarding of new clients with appropriate guidance and execution
- Help identify areas for process improvement, efficiency, and risk management within the dealing function
- Demonstrate excellence in trade booking, compliance checks, and working within risk limits
- Build strong internal relationships across Sales, Risk, Operations, and Compliance teams

- Strong understanding of the FX markets, particularly in spot and forward contracts; familiarity with options a plus

- Excellent communication skills — clear, concise and confident when speaking with clients or internal stakeholders
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive trading environment
- The ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining precision and control. Following process and documentation requirements, as required
- A team-player mentality with a willingness to support colleagues and help develop junior team members
- Competency in using trading platforms and CRM systems
