Senior Quantity Surveyor

I\’m working with a well-established client in the infrastructure sector who is currently looking to bring a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor on board. About the Role:
You\’ll play a key part in delivering pre- and post-contract commercial support on major infrastructure schemes across sectors such as:
·Highways (both national and local)
·Rail & Transport
·Energy (nuclear, renewables, carbon capture)
·Utilities (water, communications, etc.)
·Defence / MOD
·Aviation
The team is not looking for someone to tick every box from day one but is eager to meet candidates who bring senior-level surveying experience, a passion for learning, and a strong desire to add value through best practice and problem-solving.
What You\’ll Bring:
·A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline (chartered or working towards).
·Solid experience with NEC contracts and administering commercial elements of infrastructure projects.
·Strong working knowledge of measurement methods (such as CESMM and Highways measurement standards).
·Familiarity with ITT documentation and procurement processes.
·Practical understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery.
·Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
·Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
·Experience leading projects or managing medium-scale assignments independently.
·A genuine interest in innovation, sustainable development, and driving client value.
·Experience mentoring junior team members and building long-term client relationships is a big plus.
