What\’s On Offer – Salary & Benefits
Hourly Rate: £20.50 – £22.90 per hour, plus £71 per week flexible working allowance (equivalent to £43,667 – £48,357 per year, inclusive of the flexible working allowance).
Plenty of Overtime: Overtime paid at enhanced rates, with flexible on‑call requirements that can often be handled remotely.
Generous Benefits: Company pension, 150 hours of holiday plus bank holidays, and the potential for two annual bonuses.
Convenient Hours: Standard 37.5-hour week, typically Monday to Thursday.
Your Role
- Keep production running smoothly by minimising downtime and delivering effective solutions.
- Upgrade and modify equipment to boost performance and reliability.
- Lead and support project installations, working closely with management on new initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Help refine and improve the Preventive Maintenance Programme (PPM).
- Identify and resolve issues at source, implementing long-term solutions.
What You\’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a mechanical maintenance technician, mechanical fitter, mechanical maintenance engineer, etc.
- Hands‑on experience with pumps, valves, and ideally regulators.
