Are you a Machinist (Manual Machinist) who wants to work Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm for a base salary of up to 45000 per annum + overtime with earnings of 49000 and upwards achievable?

The basics:

Job Title: Machinist – manual machinist / fitting department

Location: Burton-On-Trent

Pay: 38000 to 45000 dependent on competencies/skill set.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm

Overtime: 1.5. Mon-Fri from 3pm onwards and Saturday until 12 midday. Double time Saturday 12 onwards and Sundays.

Industry: Manufacturing

Holidays: 25 + 8 bank holidays

Benefits: Company pay up to 7.2%, free parking and canteen.

Overview:

Working for a large manufacturing business that have sites across the globe we now require a manual machinist to join the team.

Key responsibilities of the Manual machinist role:

– Work closely with the maintenance team and be the dedicated manual machinist onsite – shaft repairs, machining bushes, bearings and helping out the Fitters with machining of parts.

The ideal candidate / Manual Machinist may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Must have previous experience manual machining – milling, turning, grinding for example.

Commutable from: Burton-On-Trent, Derby, Swadlincote, Lichfield and surrounding areas.
