Our client, a highly respected and well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Head of Finance to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based at their site in Aylesbury.

This is a key leadership role with responsibility for all group entities, including international subsidiaries and branch offices across Europe, the USA, and Australia. You will lead a team of five within the UK finance function and work closely with overseas offices to ensure robust financial control and insightful reporting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
  • Management of statutory reporting and taxation across all jurisdictions
  • Overseeing the external audit process
  • Responsibility for international payrolls
  • Annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Treasury and cashflow management
  • Ensuring robust financial controls and processes
  • Supporting commercial and operational decision-making across the business

About you:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
