The Management Accountant will assist the wider team in maintaining the financial integrity of the UK financial records and to provide accurate and timely reporting that supports planning and decision making.
Main activities, tasks & duties
- Maintain Sales bookings and reporting
- Assist SFC (Senior Financial Controller) and Functional Leadership in reporting of Functional Dashboards
- Assist SFC in preparing Monthly Profit & Loss and reports
- Assist SFC in preparing Quarterly reporting pack
- Prepare and report on Project P&L’s
- Maintain Orderbook accuracy and reporting
- Maintain monthly reconciliations
- Manage revenue recognition across several revenue streams
- Assist SFC in implementing and maintaining Financial controls and processes
- Prepare and review Audit packs along with assisting SFC with Audit queries
- Assist with Annual Financial Audit whilst ensuring Audit deadline is achieved
- Support wider Finance team with finance and business process related queries
- Support wider business and its Leadership with finance related queries
We have identified the following attributes, skills and experience as necessary to be successful in this role:
- Accountancy Qualification (either ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- A Number Cruncher: Someone that is comfortable in numbers, spreadsheets, and financial systems, that pays close attention to detail and keeps errors to a minimum.
- Aptitude for Analysis: understand financial data, identify and resolve problems quickly, interpret and clearly communicate financial reports.
- Time Machine: Highly organised and capable of prioritising your workload based on deadlines.
- Client Focused: Having a desire to always do best by clients, delivering 100% for every client.
- A Desire For Better: Just because our way of working is good, doesn’t mean it can’t be improved. You’re constantly striving for ways to improve how we do things.
- Relationship Builder: Both internally and externally, it’s vital that this person can develop lasting relationships if we intend to deliver successfully to clients.

In addition, we are looking for knowledge of:
- Financial Accounting and Accounting principles
- Strong Commercial Acumen
- Good understanding of Technology industry
- ERP Systems (ideally Salesforce and Dynamics AX)
- MS Office (specifically Excel)
- Knowledge of US Market (ideal but not necessary)
