Role Overview:

The Team Lead of Account Management will report directly to a senior manager of Account Management. This position requires a dynamic and experienced candidate to manage a team of newly trained account managers overseeing the entire customer lifecycle, including product adoption, upsell, cross-sell, and renewal. The person will also identify and close sales opportunities with assigned clients, managing contract renewals, upsells, and cross-sells. Demonstrating solution-selling skills and managing internal relationships with Sales and Client Services are essential to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales objectives. Additionally, the Team Lead will coach and support their account managers.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Manage a team of account management professionals to achieve and surpass goals
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to improve team skills and productivity
  • Identify and execute business ideas to improve renewal rates, logo retention, account engagement, and upsell targets
  • Participate in employee appraisal and career planning
  • Recruit and train future team members
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers in client accounts
  • Identify and close sales opportunities such as renewals, cross-sells, and upsells
  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Services teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Call on existing clients to meet revenue targets
  • Set and pursue aggressive revenue goals for each account
  • Forecast sales opportunities accurately via pipeline reports
  • Manage personal and team revenue pipelines to maximize business opportunities
  • Monitor and report sales activity within the system
  • Perform other duties as assigned
