Are you looking to work with more interesting and complex products? This is an electromechanical assembly role that can offer you flexible hours and stability, as part of a small close-know engineering team.
You will have ownership for your own builds from start to finish, so you’ll always know where you’re up to, keeping the quality of the build high. It can take between 2-4 weeks to fully complete a machine before passing it to the test department, so this role won’t be repetitive! It’s mechanical and electrical assembly work, using tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, drills and screwdrivers.
After building it, you’ll also do the functional testing, diagnosing issues if it doesn’t work using instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, to make sure it works as expected. Full on the job training will be provided, and you’ll have support from the wider production and test team, should you need help with anything.
