We are currently seeking Mechanical Wireline Supervisors to support our busy team.
Key Responsibilities
- The WL Supervisor is the operative leader for the well operation offshore.
- Daily reporting to Archer’s Management onshore.
- Lead safety culture with focus on Archer’s five core values in line with other Archer personnel.
- Discussing adaptation, preparation, and execution of intervention work with the Client’s offshore operations leader and in accordance with approved company procedures.
- Fully comply with the company’s Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Systems.
- Responsible for preparation of equipment, checking that all necessary equipment is in place for required operations, and any shortfalls are promptly reported to the onshore team.
- Responsible for the maintenance of tools and equipment professionally, following Archer’s latest instructions and procedures.
- Be thoroughly familiar with Archer’s governing systems and promote their content.
- Be familiar with Archer’s data reporting systems and Client-specific reporting systems.
- Register all deviations during operations and report these to the onshore team.
- Influence and guide co-workers to ensure Client’s regulations and procedures are always followed.
- Participate in specialist training as instructed by the Company and Client.
- Participate in relevant project work, meetings, courses, and additional related activities.
- Maintain close dialogue with Archer onshore support and the client to ensure optimal tool selection for operations.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all offshore equipment, highlighting and requesting mobilization of any shortfalls.
- Aid in developing processes and procedures for Archer’s growing organization.
- Participate in the loadout process of equipment for specified jobs, if required by line management.
