The Company
Our client is a private members’ club in West London, currently undergoing a major transformation. With a rich heritage and an enviable location, the club is being reimagined for a new generation. It will be a sophisticated yet welcoming space where culture, wellness and community come together.
As the refurbishment nears completion, this is a defining moment in the club’s story. Think of what The Arts Club did a few years ago. The ambition is to create something modern and aspirational, but grounded in warmth, inclusivity and meaningful connection.
We are looking for an engaging, polished and people-focused Membership Manager to join at this exciting point in time and help grow a community of like-minded individuals who will bring the space to life.
The Role
This is a hands-on, outward-facing role for someone who thrives on building relationships and making people feel welcome, seen and valued.
You will work closely with the Head of Membership and the wider team to thoughtfully grow the club’s member base. This is not about volume. It is about curation. That means identifying and connecting with individuals who align with the club’s ethos and will help shape its culture from day one.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading member acquisition and outreach across West London’s creative, cultural and entrepreneurial networks
- Hosting prospective members, giving tours and offering a genuine sense of what it means to be part of the club
- Supporting the delivery of elegant, experience-led events and touchpoints that bring people together in a natural, authentic way
- Building meaningful relationships with new and existing members, helping them feel personally connected to the space and the community
- Developing thoughtful partnerships that align with the club’s values and enhance the overall experience
- Supporting the use of the CRM system and helping to ensure that member information and preferences are captured and actioned with care
The Candidate
You are warm, polished and present. You love hosting and feel most at home in a social setting where you can connect people naturally, make them feel seen and create meaningful first impressions. You bring energy to a room, but in a way that feels calm, thoughtful and genuine.
While you are not a pushy salesperson, you are quietly driven by results. You hold yourself accountable to targets and are motivated by progress. You know how to follow up with purpose, nurture relationships over time and spot the right moments to act. You are proactive, attentive and always looking for ways to move things forward.
You are well connected, particularly across West London, and have a strong sense of the people who will feel at home in this club. You instinctively understand modern luxury and take pride in delivering experiences that are elegant, personal and considered.
You will be joining a kind and collaborative team who care deeply about what they are building. If you believe in creating something modern, inclusive and full of purpose, we would love to hear from you.
