At CLAAS UK at Saxham we provide Sales, Service, Parts, IT, Marketing and Accounts support for our dealer network across the UK and Ireland. CLAAS UK is also the sole wholesale distributor for all CLAAS machinery in the UK and Ireland. Your role in our team:

  • It’s an exciting time at Saxham, with the establishment of our own purpose-built in-house Academy to inspire the next generation of Service Professionals for our dealer network across the UK and Ireland. We have been committed to growing our own talent through apprenticeships since 2001, and we currently have circa 92 apprentices studying towards qualifications. We are passionate about developing young people to work in our industry and take it forward.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering training modules for recognised Land-Based Engineering Qualifications.
  • You will deliver and manage key stages of the learner journey through to achievement. As a number of our Apprentices are under 18, safeguarding and welfare is paramount, and you must have a commitment to ensure high standards are maintained at all times.
  • This is a great opportunity to join the Academy during the growth period of the CLAAS Apprenticeship journey, with the opportunity to influence the direction of the in-house programme.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone who has:

• Extensive practical experience in the Engineering industry and/or Land Based Engineering
• The skills and knowledge to train and inspire Land-Based engineers of the future.
• The willingness to continually professionally develop, including working towards training qualifications, if not already achieved.
• The ability to travel to our dealerships across the UK to conduct assessor visits.
• An ability to work flexibly as part of a rota for safeguarding, including weekends.
• A passion and skill for fabrication would be advantageous but not mandatory.
