The basics:
Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Biomass department.
Salary: 40643 rising to 46072 following assessment + overtime = earnings of 50000 and upwards achievable
Overtime rates: 1.5x Monday-Saturday and 2x Sunday
Location: Neath
Environment: Manufacturing
Holidays and benefits: 23 days rising to 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Pension matched up to 6%, company sick pay, Life assurance x3 of salary.
Overview:
With manufacturing facilities located across the globe due to continued investment to become a greener more energy efficient site, we now require an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the maintenance department with a key focus towards maintenance of the plants Biomass boilers – this is current and new technology for the company in an ever-growing market – specific training will be given on BIOMASS Boilers for the willing candidate.
You will be working within modern manufacturing facilities for a business that can offer true security due to the products that they manufacture.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
- PPM\’s
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served apprentice trained or above
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment/similar as a multi skilled electrically biased maintenance engineer.
- The desire to learn and to be trained in Biomass boiler maintenance.
Commutable from: Port Talbot, Baglan, Swansea, Neath and surrounding areas.
