We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established team in the area of Peterborough.
Working Hours
- Full-Time, Permanent (negotiable)
- Monday to Friday: 8:15 am – 6:00 pm
- Includes protected 1-hour lunch break
- Time allocated daily for admin, client communication, and case development
Weekend Rota
- 1 in 4 weekends:
- Saturday: 8:15 am – 11:00 am & 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm consults
- Sunday: Inpatient checks only (if applicable, nurse on-site)
- Tuesday off following weekend worked (regardless of inpatient status)
Salary
- Up to £70,000 per annum
Duties
- Consultations and routine surgery (15-minute standard appointments; longer for complex/end-of-life cases)
- Shared weekend and OOH inpatient cover rota
- Collaborate with nurses and reception team for patient care delivery
- Contribute to gold-standard treatment planning and client communication
