Job Description

Technical Author

Location: Reading. Client site-based 4-day week
Security Clearance Required: DV & Sole UK national

Outside IR35, Inside IR35 and staff opportunities available

We are looking for multiple Technical Authors to support one of our major clients based in Reading.

Your Missions:

Production of all Technical Product specifications in support of the design (drawings, specifications, process flows, MIs, etc.)
️ Producing and maintaining Design History Files utilising Siemens Teamcenter
Assisting in the procurement of tooling and equipment
Operating as checker/peer reviewer for the design team to ensure high quality of technical output

Candidate Profile (Skills, Experience & Qualifications):

Degree in a STEM discipline

Competent in IT, including standard office software and engineering tools including NX and Teamcenter experience.

Experience in a nuclear safety regulated environment
Experience applying nuclear safety principles (DSA03-DNSR)

This role requires the successful candidate to hold DV Clearance
