Overview
Manager of Marketing and Strategy location: East Providence office. This role blends strategic thinking with effective project management to drive marketing campaigns forward, managing deliverables, timelines, and resources while focusing on client needs, business goals, and customer insights. The role partners with internal teams and client partners to ensure on-strategy execution that yields impactful results. Strong organizational skills, strategic communication, and the ability to juggle multiple projects are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies for client partners: conduct research, write creative briefs, analyze industry trends, build communications plans, brainstorm tactics and activations, and more
- Perform various project management duties: assemble teams, manage tasks, develop project schedules, monitor budgets, and lead communications with internal teams and agency clients
- Develop proposals and statements of work, including budgets, project timelines and descriptions of services
- Assume a leading role in client service, client presentations and proposal development
- Ensure all projects proceed according to plan and expectations, providing an exceptional client experience
- Collaborate and actively participate in agency new business efforts and cultivate relationships that foster new business development
- Take initiative to build and develop personal project management, marketing and presentation skills as necessary
- Ability to navigate working with clients of all sizes, from small startups to large global corporations
- Possess an appreciation for strategy, branding, marketing and user experience
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications or a similar field of study
- 3-5 years of marketing experience (agency and/or consulting environments preferred)
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and time/project management skills; possess the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience communicating professionally and effectively with clients
- Responsive and proactive attitude, with the ability to prioritize and problem solve
- Well-developed relationship building skills
- Collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit
- Healthcare marketing and/or health insurance marketing experience preferred
- Experience with project management software & systems preferred
