To prepare, analyse and report on management accounting information. Providing team leads with timely, accurate and relevant information, contributing to the organisation’s financial management procedures ensuring that they are effective, efficient and compliant with the appropriate financial statutory and regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end process, including preparation of P&L management accounts, investigating any discrepancies in the accounts, providing commentary and variance analysis.
- To lead on the preparation and filing of tax returns for all entities, liaising with external tax advisors and contacts as appropriate.
- To prepare VAT returns as appropriate for the identified entities.
- To prepare and review weekly/monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts ensuring accuracy, following up and investigating any discrepancies through to resolution.
- Oversee expenses processing and payroll journals.
- Review month-end tasks performed by the Assistant Management Accountant ensuring accuracy.
- Provide information to budget holders upon request.
- Assisting other team members with work to ensure accuracy and that reporting deadlines are met.
- Assisting with audit preparations as required.
- Resolving accounting issues and discrepancies as they arise.
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects, research and analysis as required.
- Deputise for the UK Accounting Manager on occasions.
- Any other ad-hoc duties appropriate to the role level.

Your Current Skillset Will Include
- Educated to degree level or holds equivalent experience
- Vast experience in accounting and holds an ACCA/ AAT qualification.
- Excellent/proficient use of MS Excel
- Previous experience and competent user of NetSuite.
- Ability to work under own initiative and take responsibility for assigned areas of work.
- A well-organised person capable of prioritising and working autonomously.
- Friendly, flexible, and enthusiastic.
