Business Development Consultant – Health & Social Care Recruitment
Office-Based | Full-Time | Permanent | Start Date: 1st July 2025 £40,000 + Commission | Company Car | Health Benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Business Development Consultant to play a key role in launching and scaling a new health and social care recruitment venture. Based in our new Ealing office, you’ll drive client acquisition, shape our business development strategy and become a trusted partner to care providers across the UK.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with strong sector knowledge to make their mark within a startup-style environment backed by experience and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
· Drive new business growth across the health and social care recruitment sector
· Identify and win clients including care homes, supported living providers, and local authorities
· Promote high-quality staffing and recruitment solutions tailored to client needs
· Build a pipeline of opportunities through networking, outreach, and referrals
· Present bespoke proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
· Meet and exceed monthly billing and revenue targets
· Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and workforce challenges
· Report regularly on sales performance, activity, and forecasts
What We’re Looking For:
· 2–3 years’ experience in recruitment sales, ideally in health or social care
· Proven ability to generate leads, convert opportunities, and meet billing targets
· Strong understanding of health and social care workforce needs and compliance
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
· Commercially driven and self-motivated, with a startup mindset
· Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
