Carrier HVAC now has an opportunity for a HVAC Key Account Manager. You will form part of our Applied sales team and the main goal of this role is to develop new business and grow sales in the growing data centre market.

What will you be doing?

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Data Centre market.
  • Identify, qualify, target, and develop new DC accounts (end users / contractors / consultants).
  • Manage and develop existing strategic key accounts – secure orders and develop enquiries.
  • Build specification pipeline and backlog with designer clients, as part of business plan.
  • Liaise with Data Centre Project Management team on projects, ensuring customer service excellence.
  • Ensure regular customer contact with identified target stakeholders – travel will be required.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of HVAC industry, in particular hydronic chilled water and airside products.
  • Strong sales background in HVAC, specifically data centre cooling.
  • Experience dealing with associated GCs, M&Es, consultants and/or end users.
  • Competitor knowledge.
  • Target & objective focused.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • IT Literate with MS Office skills.
