Were seeking a forward-thinking Curriculum Manager to lead and develop our Electrical department at Newham College. Based at our Stratford campus, you will manage a diverse portfolio of electrical courses for 1618-year-olds and adult learners.
KeyResponsibilities
- Lead and manage curriculum planning, development, and delivery aligned with employer and industry needs.
- Line manage and mentor a team of teaching staff, promoting excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Monitor course performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Deliver 712 hours of high-quality teaching weekly as a role model for the team.
- Work closely with stakeholders to enhance learner employability, including work placements and progression opportunities.
What Are We Looking For
- A relevant degree or substantial vocational experience in Electrical installation or a related field.
- A teaching qualification (or currently working towards one).
- Proven experience in teaching and curriculum leadership, preferably in post-16 education.
- Ability to inspire teams, raise standards, and champion continuous professional development.
