About Birdie
Birdie is the leading home healthcare technology platform that aims to radically transform the lives of older adults. Its all-in-one solution supports around 4.8 million (and growing) care visits every month, equipping care providers with the tools they need to deliver better quality care and improve efficiency across most day-to-day operations. This enables us to collect over 1.5 billion data points on care recipient wellbeing each year, making Birdie the holder of the largest structured community healthcare dataset in Europe.
Birdie was founded in 2017, a B-Corp certified company that leverages technology to reimagine home care. With a total raise to date of $55M, we secured our Series B funding in 2022 led by Sofina, Omers, and Index Ventures, fuelling our mission to transform care.
Recognised for its innovation and impact, we have received numerous accolades, including ranking 6th in the 2023 Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 and 21st in Deloitte\’s EMEA Technology Fast 500 in 2024. We joined Tech Nation\’s prestigious Future Fifty 2024 cohort and was featured in the Sifted 100 list of fastest-growing UK & Ireland startups in 2024. Furthermore, Birdie was named an NHS England Assured Supplier for Digital Social Care Records in 2023 and won the Innovative Solutions in Home Care Award at the 2024 Leaders in Care Awards.
Birdie is seeking a motivated, data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. Your mission will be to unlock new growth motions and drive pipeline creation within our ideal customer profile (ICP). If you\’re a \’builder\’ who loves getting technical, has an equal love of marketing and empathy for audiences, and thrives on experimentation in both online and offline worlds, then this one is for you.
Campaign Execution & Optimisation: Execute and optimise marketing campaigns across multiple channels including SEO, email marketing, paid search and paid social, with a relentless focus on driving quality pipeline from our ICP.
Marketing Automation Leadership: As our resident marketing operations expert, you\’ll lead on building and optimising marketing automation processes. You\’ll constantly question whether tasks can be automated and document processes clearly for the team.
Experimentation & Creative Measurement: Design and execute tests across different channels with a hypothesis-driven approach. We\’ll be honest – our market can be hard to reach online, so you\’ll need to be creative about measurement when traditional A/B testing isn\’t possible. You\’ll work with stakeholders to establish success metrics and bring the organisation along with your findings.
Data Analysis & Insights: Use marketing analytics to measure campaign performance and derive actionable insights. You\’ll be comfortable digging into tools like Google Analytics, Looker, and HubSpot to find the truth, balancing quantitative analysis with qualitative insights when hard data is scarce.
Online & Offline Collaboration: Work closely with our Events Manager to bring growth innovation to the offline world. You\’ll also collaborate with Content and Community, Product Marketing, Sales Development and Sales teams to develop effective multi-touch customer journeys that blend online and offline touch points.
AI & Tool Innovation: Stay curious about new tools, especially AI, and actively test multiple models including Claude, Perplexity, ChatGPT and Gemini. Birdie is committed to an AI-driven future in marketing, and our values encourage you to test, iterate and learn.
Metric-Driven Decision Making: Focus on hitting targets whilst being hyper aware of downstream impacts. For example, if tasked with generating demo requests, you\’ll prioritise quality leads from our ICP and proactively identify any unintended consequences elsewhere in the funnel.
Marketing Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing, preferably in SaaS or tech industries, with a track record of testing new initiatives and driving growth.
Growth Mindset: Demonstrated curiosity and drive to test new approaches. You should be comfortable sharing failures and discussing what hasn\’t worked – we care more about learning than being right.
Channel Expertise: Strong working knowledge of digital marketing channels (email marketing, SEO, paid search and social) with experience building customer journeys that blend online and offline touch points.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Confident with marketing automation platforms, AI tools, CRM and CMS systems
- Comfortable using analytics tools independently and being creative with measurement approaches
- Able to derive insights and make data-driven decisions, even when traditional metrics aren\’t available
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to bring the organisation along with your findings and proactively communicate the impact of marketing decisions.
What makes this role exciting:
This is a fun and challenging role because much of our market is hard to reach online, so you\’ll need to blend online with offline skills and get creative with your approach. You\’ll work alongside an Events Manager, bringing growth skills to the offline world and meeting people at events who are doing amazing things for the home care industry.
Birdie is committed to an AI-driven future in marketing, and our values actively encourage you to test, iterate and learn. You\’ll have strong support from leadership to make this role work – especially as our inbound team is performing well, having hit closed won metrics for two quarters running.
The impact you\’ll have is helping Birdie unlock new growth motions and increase our rate of pipeline creation within our ICP. Whether that\’s discovering more efficient ways of working, finding new messaging that resonates, or pioneering how AI transforms marketing, you\’ll be at the forefront of it all.
It\’s incredibly rewarding work – you\’ll be helping improve care for vulnerable people whilst working with a team that values experimentation, learning, and making a real difference.
