No day will be the same – here are some of the highlights

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Training Specialist to play a key role in building capability across our rapidly growing hybrid workforce, including office-based and field teams.

This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You might be delivering a leadership workshop or onboarding session one day, and the next supporting teams with certifications or enhancing how we use our Learning Management System (LMS) to track skills and compliance. A significant part of the role focuses on LMS administration, including centralising certifications, monitoring mandatory training, and helping shape our developing skills framework.

You’ll also deliver engaging training both online and in person, while supporting wider L&D initiatives such as content creation, improving learning journeys, and responding to development allowance requests. If you enjoy variety, working with people, and solving problems, this role will suit you well.

Responsibilities:

  • Training delivery: Deliver engaging workshops and training sessions, independently and as a co‑facilitator, across leadership, sales, and onboarding programmes.
  • LMS management: Own key elements of the LMS, including developing the skills function, maintaining learning content, monitoring mandatory training compliance, and supporting system improvements.
  • Compliance & quality: Manage and centralise certifications for technical and field‑based teams, ensuring records are accurate, accessible, and audit‑ready.
  • Development support: Support colleagues with development allowance requests, helping them identify suitable learning opportunities and tracking development activity.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand learning needs and deliver a high‑quality L&D service aligned to business priorities.
  • Projects & improvement: Contribute to L&D projects such as content creation, updating learning pathways, and improving processes.
  • L&D administration: Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the L&D team, keeping systems, records, and processes accurate and up to date.

What you’ll need to succeed

We’re looking for an organised, people‑focused learning professional who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering high‑quality training and support. You’ll be comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment, and thrive while building strong relationships across the business. With a practical, solution‑focused approach, you’re confident balancing delivery, systems, and administration to support a growing organisation.

  • Experience in delivering training, confident in facilitating sessions online and in person, with the ability to adapt your approach to different learning styles.
  • Experience using an LMS (we use a system called HowNow) and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience in L&D, including supporting learning programmes, skills frameworks or content creation.
  • Some understanding of skills matrices or skills‑based approaches to learning.
  • Confident working in fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – able to build trust, encourage engagement and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage varied tasks and priorities.
  • A genuine interest in learning, development and creating inclusive experiences that support a diverse workforce.

We offer both formal and informal flexible working options. Full‑time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
