TPF Recruitment is currently assisting a dynamic and high-performing client in the search for a Part-Qualified Audit Senior or Semi-Senior to join their growing Audit & Assurance team based in Leatherhead. Role Overview:
As a Part-Qualified Audit Senior or Semi-Senior, you\’ll be working closely with an Audit Manager and have the opportunity to take ownership of audits, from planning through to completion. You\’ll manage the progress of audits, review the work of junior colleagues, and provide guidance to help them grow. You\’ll use a variety of technological tools to deliver high-quality service while collaborating with your wider team to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Reviewing the work of junior staff and assisting with their development.
- Maintaining client relationships and ensuring audits are completed on time and within budget.
- Working across remote and client-site engagements.
- Providing support to clients and colleagues with your expertise in audit.
Requirements
What We\’re Looking For:
- You\’ll be AAT qualified or working towards your ACA/ACCA qualification, with at least 18 months of experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice.
- Experience in leading external audit assignments under International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Strong technical knowledge of preparing accounts under UK GAAP.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Excellent communication skills for working with senior staff and clients.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Knowledge of Caseware software and Mercia audit methodologies is a bonus but not essential.
