We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Independent Prescriber to join a community substance misuse service in Bradford. This full-time, permanent position involves providing expert prescribing services to individuals undergoing treatment for substance misuse, including opioid substitution therapy (OST) and detoxification. You will assess, monitor, and manage clients’ medication and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care.As an Independent Prescriber you will:Conduct assessments and develop care plans.Prescribe and review medications for substance misuse.Provide harm reduction advice and clinical supervision.Collaborate with healthcare professionals and ensure compliance with service protocols.Essential Qualifications/Experience:Registered with the NMC.Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300).Experience in substance misuse treatment or related fields.As an Independent Prescriber you will receive:A competitive salary of up to £50,440.00Supportive team environment and development opportunities.35 days annual leave rising to 40 days after your first yearMonday to Friday hours with flexible working optionsIf you are an RGN, RMN or Registered Pharmacist and have completed your V300, and are looking for a new role as a Functional Assessor, please apply with a copy of your CV and one of our team will be in touch to discuss the role further.
