T he Reporting Transformation and Delivery Team within BT Finance was set up to help the BT Finance community maximise the value that we gain from our investment in SAP. This new function will lead the reporting transformation and will enable the development of best-in-class reporting capability at BT. The team will lead the implementation of SAC Reporting including design, development and support of standardised SAC reports/dashboards and models for Finance.
The focus of the role is to use your experience and expertise to lead the design of new reporting models, templates and dashboards, and guide end-users on best practice use of SAP planning tools, including SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and others as applicable.
What you\’ll be doing
- Lead the design of SAC planning models, templates and dashboards that improve the level of planning capability across BT Finance.
- Work closely with Group and Unit Finance teams to ensure development of appropriate planning models, templates and dashboards that meet or exceed their requirements.
- Support Group and Unit Finance through the ideation and initiative proposal process to incorporate new Planning and reporting initiatives into the wider Finance roadmap.
- Share your expert SAP knowledge and experience, and guiding stakeholders on the best way to achieve their requirements within our SAP tools.
- Be a vocal advocate for SAP planning and reporting capability development, and the value-add that can be achieved from an efficient and effective system-based SAP planning approach.
- Support the delivery of planning and reporting development projects through the project lifecycle – post design phase.
- Effectively manage stakeholder relationships across Finance and BT Digital and within the team.
The skills you\’ll need
- Expert understanding of SAP planning and Reporting design best practice, particularly in SAC and BPC.
- Functional knowledge of the SAP platform to inform planning design and delivery (e.g. S/4 HANA, BW, BPC, SAC)
- Experience of Financial planning processes (e.g. annual budget / long range plan / forecasting) and design of SAP planning capabilities to support these.
- Brilliant design, documentation and presentation skills.
- 10% on target bonus
