£240 – £715.77 per week (based on a 2 day week, salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

The School and Role

We are looking for an Early Years Teacher to work in a friendly and welcoming primary school in Alnwick, Northumberland. Working as part of an established team, the desired Early Years Teacher will be teaching Reception. Some of the children within the class have SEND and are working at a lower ability therefore an experienced teacher would be preferred, however newly qualified teachers are also welcome to apply. There is an experienced teaching assistant within the class as well as specific teaching assistants who offer one to one support. This is a part time role and will be part of a job share. The successful applicant will be working Thursday and Friday each week, 8.30 – 4pm each day.

Requirements

The desired Early Years Teacher will have;

  • Experience of working within an EYFS setting or class
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • QTS within the UK
