Job Description:
Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.

What are your contributions to the team?
- Adhere to Bombardiers Maintenance Organization Procedures, among which the relevant parts of the MOE and applicable work instructions.
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
- Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
- Train, coach and support other employees
- Respond to customer queries & requests
- Perform complete engine runs as required
- Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems
- Supervise Mechanics when carrying out maintenance tasks, and determine that relevant tasks or inspections have been carried out to the required standard.
- Release line maintenance tasks that are performed by him-/herself or under their supervision for which they are trained and authorized
- Perform maintenance at off-site locations and be responsible for day-to-day station admin requirements
- Assist when providing time & cost estimates.
- Report to the Operations Manager
- Use own initiative to resolve difficult situations
How to thrive in this role?
- You have an EASA/CAA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License: B1, B2 and C
- You ideally have additional Business Jet Line Maintenance experience within the last 3 to 5 years.
- You will ideally have experience with working on Bombardier Business Jet aircraft types (Challenger, Global, Learjet).
- You have demonstrated ability to train other employees
- You have Part-147 approved type training on your license and held the approval for ideally at least 2 years
- You are or have been engine run qualified – preferred
- You have good knowledge on the requirements of Appendix I to Part-66
- You have good knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations
- You have at least 6 months of relevant aircraft or maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year period
- You have knowledge on, and practicing of, human factors, human performance and limitations
- You have knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant
- You are current on all training requirements (recurrent/continuation training)
- You have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings
- You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task and / or aircraft status
- You have the ability to use information systems (computer skills)
