Job Title: Senior Video Content Producer

West Ham United Football Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Video Content Producer to join our innovative Content team. This role will lead the development and production of original entertainment and branded content across the clubs digital platforms, with a particular focus on YouTube.
You will play a pivotal part in ideating and delivering creative, fan-first content that strengthens the connection with our global audience, engages younger demographics, and drives digital growth, all while reflecting the Clubs values, voice and brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and production of original digital entertainment formats across West Ham Uniteds owned channels.
Deliver engaging, story-driven content that resonates with fans and expands reach among new, younger audiences.
Create and execute strategies for influencer-led collaborations and partnerships with social-first talent.
Develop branded content opportunities aligned with commercial objectives and partnership integrations.
Oversee pre- and post-production processes, ensuring smooth planning, filming, editing and publishing.
Collaborate closely with the Content Lead and Commercial teams to meet creative and brand goals.
Manage external production agencies and freelance talent to deliver high-quality, brand-aligned content.
Maintain a forward-thinking approach, bringing trend-driven, culturally relevant ideas to the team.
Requirements
What Were Looking For:
Essential Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience creating digital entertainment content for the 1634 audience.
Demonstrated ability to develop, pitch and produce content formats with commercial and editorial value.
Track record of managing full production cycles, including influencer or talent-led content.
Strong platform-native understanding of YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Commercial awareness and experience integrating brand messages into editorial content.
A hands-on, proactive approach with strong creative leadership.
Desirable
Experience within the sports or football media industry.
Established network of creators, influencers, or freelance production professionals.
Skills & Attributes
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects).
Excellent creative judgement and passion for storytelling and digital innovation.
Deep understanding of youth and football culture, with knowledge of wider digital and entertainment trends.
Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays (home and away) as required.
Strategic thinker with a strong solutions-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment.
