A fantastic new opportunity has arisen with a well-established womenswear supplier to some of the UK\’s most recognisable supermarket and high street retailers. They are looking for an experienced Womenswear Tailoring Designer with a softer handwriting that\’s both trend-led and commercially aware.

You\’ll be working within a dynamic design team, contributing to seasonal collections across casual tailoring. This is a great opportunity for a designer who is both creatively driven and product focused.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Create commercial, trend-led womenswear designs with a focus on tailoring and soft wovens
  • Develop seasonal collections aligned with key retailer profiles and market demands
  • Research trends and translate them into compelling, customer-relevant product
  • Work closely with the Design and Sales team to see concepts through to production
  • Regularly present design ideas and ranges to retail clients
  • Monitor global fashion trends and continuously bring newness to collections
  • Manage sampling where necessary
  • Attend and lead client meetings with confidence and professionalism

Person specification:

  • Proven experience designing womenswear tailoring and soft wovens
  • A strong eye for trend with the ability to interpret creatively for the mass market
  • Confident in presenting designs internally and to clients
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and able to manage your own workflow
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment

Up to £0.00 per annum + Competitive Salary
